Spicy beef fried rice on a white plate

  • 1 lb. beef, sliced into thin strips
  • 4 cups cooked rice (leftover rice works great!)
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small head of broccoli, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Heat up a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the vegetable oil and let it heat up for a minute.

  2. Add the beef strips and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Add the garlic to the skillet and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add the bell peppers and broccoli to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the veggies are slightly tender.

  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.

  6. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet. Stir-fry everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce is evenly distributed.

  7. Add the beef back to the skillet and stir-fry everything together for another minute until the beef is heated through.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy your deliciously spicy beef fried rice with veggies!
