- 12 fresh oysters, shucked
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Preheat your grill to high heat.
Clean and shuck the oysters. Discard the top shells and place the bottom shells with the oysters on a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each oyster.
Place the oysters directly on the grill grates, flat side up. Close the grill lid and let the oysters cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the edges of the oysters start to curl and the butter is sizzling.
Remove the oysters from the grill and serve hot with lemon wedges and additional garlic butter sauce on the side.

Mix together 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 minced garlic clove, and 1 tablespoon chopped parsley in a small bowl. Drizzle the sauce over the grilled oysters or serve it on the side for dipping.
