  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Pour in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

  6. Return the meatballs to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss to combine.

  7. Preheat the broiler in your oven. Transfer the spaghetti and meatballs to a large baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

  8. Place the baking dish under the broiler and cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.

  9. Sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top of the spaghetti and serve hot. Enjoy your meatball spaghetti!
