Strawberry Panna Cotta in a glass

It’s strawberry season, and what better way to celebrate than with a delicious and refreshing dessert? Strawberry Panna Cotta in a glass is the perfect treat for any occasion, from a fancy dinner party to a cozy night in with friends. This dessert is a light and creamy delight that combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the richness of heavy cream. Plus, it’s super easy to make and looks beautiful in individual glasses or jars. So, let’s get to it!


  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar (plus more for the strawberries)
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp of powdered gelatin
  • 1/4 cup of cold water
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced


  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream, 1/4 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until the mixture comes to a simmer.

  2. While the cream mixture is heating up, sprinkle the powdered gelatin over the cold water in a small bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

  3. Once the cream mixture is simmering, add the bloomed gelatin mixture and stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.

  4. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

  5. In another small saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries and some sugar (about 1/4 cup) over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the strawberries are soft.

  6. Use a blender or food processor to puree the strawberry mixture until smooth.

  7. Layer the cooled cream mixture and the strawberry puree in individual glasses or jars, starting with the cream mixture and alternating until the glasses are filled.

  8. Refrigerate the glasses for at least 4 hours or until set.

  9. When you’re ready to serve, top the panna cotta with additional sliced strawberries or whipped cream, if desired. Enjoy!
