Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan and set it aside.

  2. Get your mixing bowl out and add in the flour, flaxseed, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk it all up until it’s nice and combined.

  3. In another bowl, mix together the softened butter and sugar until it’s nice and creamy. Then, crack in the eggs and stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Time for the star ingredient – the bananas! Mash them up and add them into the wet ingredients. Give it all a good mix until it’s well combined.

  5. Now, gradually stir in the dry ingredients until it’s just combined. Don’t overmix!

  6. Pour half of the batter into your greased loaf pan. Then, grab that Nutella and spoon it onto the batter. Swirl it around with a butter knife to create a nice marbled effect. Add the remaining batter on top of the Nutella layer.

  7. Pop the pan in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the bread. Once done, let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Slice it up and enjoy! You can store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

That’s it, folks! I hope you enjoy this amazing recipe and make it a regular part of your baking routine. Until next time, happy cooking!
