Welcome to my blog, where we’re all about delicious and easy-to-make recipes! Today, we’re going to be making a mouth-watering apple and goat cheese crostini that’s perfect for any occasion. This recipe is a crowd-pleaser and will have your guests begging for more!

So, let’s get started!

  • A fresh French baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch thick rounds
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz. of crumbled goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Get your baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.

  2. Grab your baguette and slice it into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Arrange the slices on the baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil. Give it a little seasoning of salt and black pepper, too.

  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the bread is crispy and golden brown.

  4. While the crostini is baking, it’s time to prepare the toppings! In a small bowl, mix together the crumbled goat cheese and honey until it’s well combined.

  5. Once the crostini is ready, take it out of the oven and top each slice with a few slices of apple.

  6. Spoon a dollop of the goat cheese mixture on top of the apple slices.

  7. Add some crunch with a sprinkle of chopped walnuts on each crostini.

  8. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the goat cheese is slightly melted, and the walnuts are lightly toasted.

  9. Serve and enjoy this mouth-watering apple and goat cheese crostini! And remember, always feel free to add a little more honey on top for an extra sweet treat.
