Air-Fryer Salmon with Sweet Tamarind Glaze

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tamarind concentrate
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Green onions, sliced (optional)

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.

  2. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down.

  3. Air fry the salmon for 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

  4. While the salmon is cooking, let’s make the sweet tamarind glaze. In a small saucepan, whisk together the tamarind concentrate, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic.

  5. Cook the glaze over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, or until it has thickened and become syrupy.

  6. Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and brush it generously with the sweet tamarind glaze.

  7. Top the salmon with sliced green onions, if desired, and serve hot.
